I was brought back at exactly 2:00pm, my appointment time. Doctor put a gauze on my gums and after some time, she injected the numbing shot, but my gums were already numb and I felt nothing! The procedure went fast and was done before I knew. Final x-ray and scan looks good!

The dentist and staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They take the time to know their patients on a personal level while also helping them to understand the entire dental experience from clinical applications to billing. Dr. Nguyen was transparent in each step in the dental process, and any questions I had were answered and explained until I felt comfortable enough to move forward. During my exam, the dentist sat with me and explained her findings for every single tooth. This level of dedication is hard to find and I'm glad that I have found a dental office where I feel at home. :)

I love my dentist Dr Vein Nguyen. and her staff.Just amazing, They are caring and very kind. They care about how you feel. And I truly mean that, I’m one of those people that are very frightened of needles and drilling,.. So when I go there, they make me feel comfortable as much as possible. Plus they take their time at doing it. I would recommend First Smile to anyone because, I am a scaredy-cat lol. But I feel if I can go there. And feel comfortable about being in the chair so can you. Our visit to First Smile Family Dental was amazing!! It was my daughter's first dental visit and the staff and reception was so sweet, friendly, and accommodating she said she "wants to go to the dentist everyday!" Those are words from a 5 year old. You can't get a more honest critic then that. The office and exam rooms were clean and neat. Best of all my daughter wanted to come home and brush her teeth! I highly recommend them for children and adults alike for all your dental needs!!

I am a new patient, today is my first visit for my toothache extraction. The office is clean and nice with hi-tech equipment. The staff is very professional and doctor is very considerate and friendly. I decided to change my dental care to First Smile Family Dental and scheduled my next cleaning appointment, my family’s members will change dental care to First Smile Family Dental as well. Great people. The only concern I have is my co-pay kept increasing (could be my insurance), other than that it's a very chill dentistry with a dope vibe. Again, everyone there is super nice and they make you feel relaxed and part of the First Smile family. After a few visits, I truly am impressed by this dentistry. I'm here for the duration. The women make you so comfortable it's insane. I always feel so welcome, they all knew my name immediately. They are patient, and kind. I got my cleaning, exam, fillings and an ortho consult here. I really appreciate how sweet and welcoming the front desk is. The hygienist who took my x-rays and did my cleaning was very gentle and kind. Super funny and fun to talk to. Doctor Vien was amazing. She did my fillings in a timely manner and talked to me about after care. We did a consult for ortho and we should be proceeding with trays. I appreciate the way this office was thorough with everything. The doctor isn’t trying to just make money off of you, you can tell she genuinely cares about all her patients. Definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend coming here. The atmosphere is friendly and the facility is absolutely beautiful. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Dr Nguyen is kindest Doctor (not just dentist, but any doctor) I've ever met in my 47 years. She took time with me, not just "talking shop", but asking me about my family. She also exlained everything so well, and she waited patiently for me to think about things and decide. At no time did I feel like she was rushing me. The clinic seems quite new, and everything was clean, neat, and has a pleasant atmostphere. There is even a TV on the ceiling so you can watch something while you're laying back.

Dr. Vien is the best in the business. She does extraction, implant, general maintenance care cleaning. She Vien is a one stop shop. Very very good. Just had 2 implants done. I am so happy that I have finally found my dental home and family. From the moment I called and scheduled my appointment, to showing up and getting the BEST service I am finally content and happy with choosing First Smile Family Dental as my dentist. When I walked in, I noticed how warm and welcoming it was and super clean. When I went to the front desk, I was greeted with such warmth and a great smile. When sitting and waiting for my appointment, they were on time and I was taken back by another great soul. She took her time with talking with me and explaining to me what she was going to do. She was extremely efficient with making sure all of the pictures were taken to her liking before asking the doctor to come in. That showed me how important her job was to her and how important it is to get great pictures of the patients mouth. From there the Dentist came in and she was so kind, so sweet, and very informative about what she saw going on in my mouth. She made very good suggestions for my dental plan, and was two steps ahead with getting my mouth scanned for a mouth guard. From there, was the Dental assistant. She was wonderful. So welcoming, so kind and super sweet too. She really took her time when cleaning my teeth, wasn’t heavy handed and did an AWESOME cleaning job. She would even have small talk with me and we laughed and talked making me feel even more comfortable. I would recommend anyone who is either new to the area like me to come to this dentist office, or who may be looking for a place that is professional in every way possible. What truly caught my eye was the fact that there was a multicultural of people working here. You don’t always find that at a dental office. I HIGHLY recommend this dental office because of all the listed things I have stated above. I am now going to schedule for my husband to come here too. He gets very nervous about dental work and how people treat him, and I told him, he will definitely love this place as much as I do. No hesitation at all, schedule your appointment TODAY!!!

Friendly staff, and I felt relaxed. Dentist showed and explained everything via a wall TV so it was easy to understand. There’s a ceiling TV to look at when laying down in the seat. Never seen that before. Can’t comment on teeth cleaning and other procedures, since I just came from my first appointment to get xrays.

This was the best experience I've ever had at a dental clinic. Dr. Nguyen did a wonderful job making our kids feel comfortable and took all the time we needed to go over their exam and answer questions. You can tell she's very competent, thorough, and transparent and nothing felt rushed. The clinic interior is newly remodeled and all the equipment is state of the art. Scheduling was very convenient either online or over the phone. We had no problems getting appointments that worked for our schedule (appreciate them being open on Saturdays as well). Loved everything about it.

I had such a pleasant visit each of the two times I’ve been to this dental office. Everyone there was so kind and gentle. I’m really afraid of the dentist, but they made sure I was comfortable throughout my fillings and a deep clean. It was my second time there, I needed an Emergency Extraction immediately yesterday. They were able to squeeze me in for a extraction. I was extremely in pain and stressed out about my crown. Dr.Nguyen was very helpful, gentle and reassuring during the procedure. She was able to comfort me, never realizing I was holding my breath during the procedure. After the procedure was done. She showed me my tooth and explained to me what caused my tooth pain. It was so relieving and extremely grateful for Dr. Nguyen and her dental assistant for squeezing me in for last minute emergency appointment. Thank you again and I hope y'all really consider getting your dental health done here their customer service is A1 and their very warming and welcoming dental family. Definitely will be switching my dental health.

Looking for a Dentist Look no farther, You've Found it at First Family Dentist This is the best dentist I've ever been to I live in Renton and they are in federal way (a good 40 minute drive) I had a bad,rotten and painful tooth Without hesitation I was told to come in to the clinic. Dr. Nguyen hadn't even opened officially yet she was gentle cared about how I was doing, if I was ok or needed anything. Also took time to show exrays,pictures also explained everything she was going to do. The whole staff are great. If you want your teeth, gums and your whole mouth taken care of right and with care then look no farther You've Found your dentist Dr Nguyen at First Smiles Dentist!!! as far as I'm concerned there is no other dentist to go to!!!

Was helped to feel perfectly at ease, which is not always easy at the dentist… Was comfortable at the first visit as Dr. Nguyen got to know me a bit before doing the examination. She was gentle and thorough. I found that I was much more relaxed with her than some of the other dentists I have gone to. She gave a detailed overview with me as she explained the X-rays to me and helped me to better understand how she could help with my dental needs. So very impressed with this practice.

As a dental assistant myself, I must say it was a great experience. I had staining on my lower teeth no matter how much I brushed or floss. My teeth weren't getting the stains off. I'm a heavy coffee drinker so you can only imagine. Dr. Nguyen and assistant did amazing!!!! I'm so happy with the result, I literally can't stop smiling with confidence with my purely whites. As a dental assistant I can now demonstrate a beautiful smile. THANK YOU!!! definitely recommend to all who need a great experience with results 😁

Both the office staff and doctor are professional, welcoming, and great with folks (like myself) who are anxious about dental visits. The office is centrally located and Federal Way, WA and better yet - they offer Saturday appointments. I highly recommend this office to anyone and especially to those who get anxious even thinking about Dental Office visits.

Very knowledgeable and informative. Gave me a clear plan and set me up to get all my needed dental work done in a timely manner. Everyone was kind and courteous. I thought it was extra great that they have newer technology to help me visualize what they are talking about when reviewing x-rays or looking at certain photos they took of my teeth.

Top of the line customer service from the front desk to the dental chair. Really happy with not only the doctor, but her assistant and everyone that worked there. The cleaning was expertly done all photos and decisions were thoughtfully explained and I learned new things about my teeth that I did not know before.

AMAZING! The best dentist I have ever been to! I felt well taken care of. I was greeted right when I walked in. The Center is very clean.
